The Archdiocese of Suceava and Radauti has initiated and launched the interactive platform “United for Peace” (unitipentrupace.ro) to help Ukrainian refugees, victims of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. According to the Archdiocese of Suceava and Radauti, this online platform was launched to “coordinate support initiatives for Ukrainian refugees, which have been around since the beginning of the military conflict in the neighboring country.”

The action is part of the social-philanthropic program started at the initiative and with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Calinic. Since February 24, 2022, a committee has been set up consisting of clergy of the Diocesan Center, archbishops, exarchs and volunteer coordinators, to identify the most effective support measures for Ukrainian citizens in transit or who intend to remain in Romania.
