The Military Police of Metropolitan Area Six (CPA/M-6) publishes the result of Operation Grande ABC Mais Seguro, carried out this Thursday, April 7, 2022, with the objective of combating property and life crimes, especially those committed by motorcycle criminals and digital crimes with bank transfers, aiming to protect the population and continue the reduction of crimes throughout the municipality of Grande ABCDMRR.
The Operation consisted of police presence actions at various points and mobilized more than 440 Military Police and 215 vehicles, in addition to a Drone, dedicated exclusively to the prevention and immediate reprimand of crimes through incursions at points with criminal incidence and actions of blocking, approaching, inspections and inspection mainly to Motorcycles due to the constant use by Criminals.
This time the largest concentration was in the municipality of Santo André, where there was a strong integration of the municipal security forces, Military Police, Civil Police and Civil Guard.
The efforts of the Military Police resulted in the arrest of 09 (nine) Criminals, 03 (three) of whom were recaptured and the other 06 (six) arrested in flagrante delicto for the crimes of Robbery, Theft, Reception and Drug Trafficking, with the seizure of more than 2.3 kg of drugs.
With the main focus on motorcycle inspections, the Police actions provided the inspection of 1,100 motorcycles and more than 340 cars, with 13 (thirteen) stolen/stolen vehicles being recovered, and then returned to their respective owners.
The Commander of the CPA/M-6, Colonel Hélio reaffirms the Military Police’s commitment to continue developing actions to combat crime and protect people daily, aiming at maximizing operational results and the consequent reduction of criminal indicators, with a strong presence police across the region.
